This is a top-floor one bedroom co-op in Midtown West, and the ceilings are listed at 11 feet, which I’d confirm in person since that height is what makes the room. The listing also puts a strong emphasis on sunlight, so I’d visit at the hour you care about and see what the top floor gives you.

The second thing I’d look at is the layout flexibility. The dining area can be converted into a second bedroom if you need one. The bedroom itself is large and has a walk-in closet, and the apartment also has an alcove. Storage cages are available through the building.

The kitchen and bathroom were both renovated recently, so you aren’t taking on a project. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and a dishwasher, and the floors are hardwood. The apartment has air conditioning and sits in a pre-war building. Kitchen Valley Marketplace is about 2 minutes’ walk away for groceries.

There’s a private outdoor space under 60 square feet, and Central Park is about 6 minutes’ walk if you want more room. The listing also describes a possible future enclosure of the roof with a private terrace. That’s a plan, and the apartment doesn’t have it today. If it matters to you, I’d ask what approvals it would need and who would pay for it, and have an attorney look at the paperwork.
